Ingredients Required

  • Impossible Meat Burger: The highlight of this dish!
  • Lentils
  • Ground flax seeds
  • Chia seeds
  • Seasoning blend: Use any of your favorite seasoning blends, just make sure it’s unsalted! (We used Spike seasoning)
  • Salt and black pepper
  • Vegetable oil: To caramelize the onions and also to cook the patties.
  • Lettuce: Gotta get some veggies into our burger.
  • Tomato: Provides a nice crunch and plenty of nutrients.
  • Onion: Caramelized onions make all the difference between an average burger and an exceptional burger.
  • Burger buns: You can’t make a burger without any burger buns!

Impossible Meat Vegan Burger

Vegan Impossible Meat Burger Recipe

This vegan burger is made with Impossible Meat and is absolutely mouthwatering! Even non-vegans will love it!

Total Time 15 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil, divided
  • 1 medium yellow onion, sliced
  • 12 oz Impossible Burger Meat
  • 1 cup lentils, cooked
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp ground flax seeds
  • 2 tsp seasoning blend, unsalted (we used Spike)
  • salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 4 burger buns
  • 4 leaves of lettuce
  • 1 medium tomato, sliced

Instructions

  1. Add 1 tablespoon of oil to a skillet over medium heat and saute onions for around 10 minutes until caramelized. Set aside.
  2. Combine Impossible Meat, lentils, chia seeds, ground flax seeds, spike seasoning, salt, and black pepper in a mixing bowl. Mix the ingredients well and form 4 patties.
  3. Add remaining tablespoon of oil to skillet over medium-high heat and cook the patties for around 3 minutes per side. Set aside once done.
  4. While patties are cooking, you can toast the buns or use a separate heated skillet for them.
  5. Assemble burgers with lettuce, patties, tomatoes, and caramelized onions. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
