Grilled Chicken Hearts With Vinaigrette Recipe

These Grilled Chicken Hearts with Vinaigrette are sure to captivate your taste buds with their amazing flavor!

  • 4 cups water
  • 2 tbsp salt + more for sprinkling
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • ½ lb chicken hearts
  • olive oil (for brushing on)


  • ½ cup parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • red pepper flakes, to taste
  • salt, to taste


  1. Trim off any excess fats and visible arteries from the hearts. Add salt and sugar to water in a bowl and stir to dissolve fully. Soak the hearts, cover the bowl with cling wrap, then refrigerate for 3 hours.
  2. Drain the hearts, then use pre-soaked skewers to thread through them, leaving a small gap between each piece. Place threaded skewers between paper towels to dry them.
  3. Fire up your grill to high heat. While waiting, make the vinaigrette by combining the ingredients together. Set aside.
  4. Brush skewers with olive oil and sprinkle a little salt before placing on grill. Turn occasionally and cook for around 4 minutes. Take care not to overcook them.
  5. Serve with vinaigrette and enjoy!
